Sarah Ki Rice
Sarah received her first pony at the age of two and was competing in jumping classes by the time she had turned three. She was raised on a horse farm in Colchester, Vermont where she helped her mother build a successful riding business. Sarah competed extensively and was ranked among the top 20 junior riders in the nation, competing at Madison Square Garden. She won top honors at prestigious national horse shows such as Devon, West Palm Beach, Lake Placid, and The Hampton Classic. Sarah placed fourth at the New England Finals and was the recipient of the New England Horsemanship Award and Scholarship. She took her passion for the sport to the University of South Carolina where she was one of the first riders in the nation to receive an Equestrian Scholarship. While at Carolina she was the Southeast’s High Point Rider and placed third in a Student Rider’s Cup in Rome, Italy. Sarah continues to ride and compete at hunter jumper shows.
